1. The car is deep cleaned and decontaminated, then panels are degreased
2. Handles, lights, badges and trim are removed where the design needs film tucked behind them
3. Vinyl is laid, heated and worked into contours, then trimmed
4. Edges are tucked and post-heated, which is what stops them lifting later
5. Reassembly, then the car sits before handover

• Ask what brand and grade of vinyl. Cast vinyl conforms to curves and lasts; calendered vinyl is cheaper and shrinks back off edges
• Ask whether parts are removed or the film is cut around them. Cutting around handles and lights is faster and looks it
• Ask about post-heating on edges and recesses. Skipping it is why wraps peel at the corners in this heat
• Ask what the warranty covers and whether UAE sun exposure is excluded
• Ask about removal cost and timing up front, especially on a lease vehicle

Getting your car ready

Tell us about any previous paint or bodywork. Vinyl bonds well to factory paint but can lift aftermarket respray on removal. Stone chips and rust need dealing with first, because film seals moisture in rather than out.

When to travel from Dubai Design District

d3 empties between 6 and 7pm and the road out is briefly slow. Before or after that, the run to us is quick, and coming after work hours means the car is not needed while it is with us.
