What we collect when you contact us
If you fill in the contact form on this website, we receive the name, email address and message you enter. That submission is emailed to info@budcarwash.com and is also stored in this website’s records so we can find it again.
If you message us on WhatsApp or call us, we see the phone number you contact us from, along with whatever you tell us. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, not by us, and messages you send through it are handled under Meta’s own terms and privacy policy.
We use what you send us to answer you and to carry out the work you ask for. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.
What we collect automatically
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It is connected through the Site Kit plugin and uses measurement ID G-MWX45LZJQ9. Analytics uses cookies and records things like the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, and what browser and device you use. It is Google that processes this data, under Google’s terms.
A consent banner appears the first time you visit, so you can decide what non-essential cookies to allow.
Like most websites, our hosting keeps server logs, which include IP addresses and requested URLs. Those are used to keep the site running and to investigate problems.
Comments
Articles on this site can accept comments. If you leave one, we receive the comment text, the name and email address you type into the comment form, your IP address and your browser user agent string. WordPress may pass that data to the Akismet spam service if spam filtering is enabled.
If you leave a comment, you can choose to have your name, email address and website saved in a cookie on your own device, so you do not have to type them again next time. That cookie lasts one year and stays on your device.
Embedded content from other websites
Some pages include embedded content, such as a map. Embedded content from another website behaves exactly as if you had visited that website: it can collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with it, under that website’s own policy rather than ours.
How long we keep things
Contact form submissions stay in the info@budcarwash.com mailbox and in this website’s records until we no longer need them. Comments and their metadata are kept so follow-up comments can be recognised. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting in our Analytics property.
You can ask us to delete a message you sent us, and we will.
Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, and object to or restrict how we use it. You can also ask for a copy of what you have given us.
